What is the Vancouver Early Years Partnership or VEYP?
VEYP supports communities throughout Vancouver to identify and develop an integrated model of services to support children from birth to six years old and their families.
VEYP coordinates planning for professional development to comprehensively meet the needs of the early care and learning communities in Vancouver.
VEYP was one of the Children First Learning initiatives developed by the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Branch in 2013 and is funded by the Ministry of Children and Families.
VEYP sponsors The Vancouver Early Years Training Collaborative which is made up of various not-for-profit agencies that provide professional development to early years practitioners. The goals of this collaborative are to identify gaps and overlaps in professional development and coordinate planning for professional development to comprehensively meet the needs of the early care and learning community in Vancouver, BC.
