Based on Zones of Regulations by Leah M. Kuypers, this workshop will help you gain the tools to help children of all ages improve their self-regulation skills. Self-regulation is defined as the best state of alertness of both the body and emotions. Learn how to help children recognize when they are in the different zones as well as how to use strategies to change or stay in the zone they are in.
Objectives:
Identify tools to help children of all ages gain skills in the area of self-regulation.
Discuss the 4 different zones.
Explore how to help children recognize when they are in different zones and to apply appropriate strategies when needed.
