How can we teach children to learn from their mistakes and be resilient within the classroom? How do we allow ourselves to see our own
mistakes as valuable learning opportunities? Being an Early Childhood Educator can be a very stressful job and with all
the policies, procedures, regulations and licensing requirements it is no wonder that we all sometimes make mistakes. If our own mistakes are seen as areas for personal growth rather than a circumstance to shame and blame, we can easily teach the children we care for by ‘doing’ and role modelling positive behaviour between ourselves and our co-workers. The aim of this workshop is to get you thinking about your own personal development and how this significantly aids your ability to teach children these valuable ‘life lessons’
