This hands-on workshop compliments Collaborating with the School Aged Child (April 26)and supports the interest or topics of the school aged children and allows for projects to be determined, researched, explored by the children, thus supporting them to be leaders and to have a voice. The educators are the facilitators and will celebrate the competence and ideas that the children share. Let’s strengthen their emotional connection to community today!

Presenter Information
Paula Milbradt is the founder of Empowermil and is both an educational and parent consultant. She is very passionate about serving children, families, community and professionals and supports them by offering workshops that highlight social emotional brain development. After fostering 4 boys aged 9 - 12, being a school age care supervisor and offering care to infants thru School Age she began her journey as a facilitator of workshops and adult learning. She has spoken at various conferences, school boards, Community resource centres, CHOM and most recently supporting a local college with curriculum development. She believes not only does it take a village to raise a child, but the child to fill the village with innovation and creativity.
