All children require a nurturing, inclusive environment to develop and grow. This workshop explores how to address challenging behaviours in a supportive and nurturing way in a childcare setting. We will expand our range of strategies, and move from punishing behaviours to understanding them, including changing the way we respond to them. The importance of working together with families to develop effective strategies in order to prepare children for success will also be discussed.
