Stories are a great way to connect with people! In this interactive workshop, we will discuss the importance of storytelling. We will explore ways in which storytelling can be made engaging and meaningful. We will learn how to co-construct stories with children. We will also discuss how storytelling can enhance the social-emotional environment of a childcare centre. Participants will learn how to make story props using found and recycled materials.
Suitable for all early learning professionals and parents.

Pooja has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 22 years of experience in the Early childhood field as a teacher, facilitator, supervisor, director and instructor. She is very passionate about finding ways to promote children’s creativity and expression of discovery. She currently teaches at Langara College in the ECE department.
