Books often make us think about snuggling on the couch, but there are books that can take us far, far away from our homes, out into the forests and mud puddles of our imagination. Learn how to use outdoor storytelling techniques, nature stories, rhymes and songs to bring nature into the classroom and encourage children to explore outdoors.

Presenter Information
Tricia Edgar has worked with children in the temperate rainforests of Vancouver for the last 16 years. She is the Education Coordinator the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre and is the president and founder of Fresh Air Learning, a nonprofit, play-based forest program for young children. She loves slugs, hummingbirds, and salmonberry flowers.
