In the busy day to day life of an early childhood educator, finding ways to de-stress is imperative to avoiding burn out. It is with the belief that self-care is an ethical practice that this workshop will delve into practical skills to reduce stress. Inspired by yoga, mindfulness and resilience-informed practice, this workshop will offer some simple movement & mindfulness techniques that you can do throughout your day. Discover ways to promote rest and relaxation within your classroom, and create a culture of care and hospitality at your workplace. Learn ways to restore your inner reserves so you can be your best you, personally and professionally.

Since 2013, she has been training educators on integrating movement inspired by yoga and mindfulness into their work with children.
