Come and delve into the exciting world of science through fun, safe and easy hands-on experiments. In this workshop you will learn how to engage with children about key scientific principles. Using concise lessons, interactive activities, and exciting experiments you will explore electricity, magnetism, matter, water, chemical reactions and your five senses. You will leave the workshop with lesson plans, experiments, vocabulary sheets and ideas on how to further expand and incorporate science into your learning environment.

Rachel Genge wrote her book “Science for Early Learners” to help answer her children’s questions about science in a way that was fun and engaging for young children. Most of the original experiments took place around the kitchen table with everyday household items. Her goal is to help others enjoy teaching and learning science.
