The objectives of this workshop are to help the audience understand the value of developmental milestones and increase knowledge about what red flags are, and why they are important. Participants will learn strategies that help recognize red flags and explore approaches to follow up once a concern or risk has been identified.
Objectives:

*Suitable for students, novice and intermediate early learning child care professionals working with preschool and school age children, including children with extra support needs.

Sandy and Belle bring many years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field supporting families and child care staff who work with children with special needs. They provide training and resources to both families and child care staff. They are Consultants in the Vancouver Supported Child Development Program at the BC Centre for Ability Association.
