Reading for Life: Turning the Pages on Literacy Myths in the Early Years

What is literacy? Come to this in person workshop for fun strategies, learn practical hints and making the most of learning moments. Explore the child’s world of learning – not just letters and words.  Their senses and experiences in play form the foundation for “ reading” their environments.  The workshop will fill in some important gaps between the child’s development and individual learning styles and the teachers role to encourage and maximize literacy opportunities.
