Simply telling kids to ‘calm down’ or ‘tough it out’ or that they are ‘okay’, is not effective in truly helping children to feel calm and learn to manage anxiety. In this workshop we will explore why it’s important for children to get to calm and why they need our help. We will also explore a number of strategies to help them get there.
