Description:
Join us in celebration of National Poetry Month! Poems are universal. They are the lyrics to the lullabyes we sing and nursery rhymes we chant. They are the verses from the books we share and the rhymes we use to teach. They are all of this and more. Come and explore the wonder and joy of sharing poetry with young children. In this workshop we will explore using poetry to nurture language development and early literacy, develop body awareness and mindfulness and assist with classroom management. Come ready to sing, dance, and share in the beauty and magic of poetry!
