Photographs are an integral part of capturing children’s experiences and communicating these experiences with families in our programs. Well taken photographs will accurately communicate children’s ideas and experiences through the progress of their projects or learning activities while at play. Improving photography skills will also improve the clarity of this communication process. During this interactive workshop participants will learn the basics of using a camera, photographic composition and how to prepare images. We will explore the purpose of documentation through photographs and critique them to improve our skills. This workshop is not meant for participants with advanced photography knowledge.
