Shaken Baby Syndrome / Abusive Head Trauma is the name given to the collection of signs and symptoms resulting from violently shaking an infant, with or without impact to the head. This online 1 hour training is for the professional, It provides education that focuses on scientifically sound literature and the best practice evidence available.
Crying, especially inconsolable crying, is the most common trigger for shaking and other forms of infant abuse. This webinar covers the Period of PURPLE crying program which covers normal increased infant crying, the dangers of shaking and alternative coping and soothing strategies for calming baby.
