We are very fortunate to have a wide range of Indigenous materials in our Early Learning Resource Library. Tara Simon from Spirit of the Children Society will help us discover how these materials, stories, and activities can be used in culturally respectful ways in your child care centre. You will receive resources to take away and share with the children you work with.
Light refreshments will be served.
A one-hour professional development certificate will be sent to participants upon completion.

Presenter Information
Tara Simon is an ECD Teacher at Spirit of the Children Society. She is Saulteaux from Manitoba. Tara worked as an ECE teacher for 14 years, 11 of which were with Spirit of the Children Society. Tara loves to teach children and enjoys preparing theme-based art for the children to explore.
