*IN PERSON WORKSHOP*
Come and make a stress release toolbox in this interactive and informative in-person workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss strategies to regulate behaviour and learn how to make stress-releasing materials/items for use in their classroom. At the end of this workshop participants will be better-equipped to handle stress and anxiety in themselves and in the children, as well as go home with their own ‘toolbox’ of stress-relieving materials that they made themselves.
The CCRR will be supplying crafting supplies as well as the materials for the make-and-take calming activities and supplies. Participants are asked to bring supplementary items to complete these activities.
Participants must bring:
- a box to store the items (what you will turn into your Stress-Release Box) – size recommended is approx. 17L
- stuffed animal or puppet (can fit in the box)
- 1-2 rocks (fist-sized)
*We also reccommend bringing a funnel if you have one.
