Description:
If we are to live consciously, especially with children in our care, we must learn to ‘live like a fruit fly’; not tomorrow but at this very moment, the one we are experiencing now. Using mindfulness’ exercises could help bring harmony and calm to child care programs. Join Cress to explore how childrens’ energy is affected by other people’s energy, and how this may affect behaviour, emotions and stress levels. Experience mindfulness exercises for children as well as adults, and discover grounding techniques that may bring in scattered energy through breathing and movement, along with stress and anxiety relief strategies for educators and children, to help us enjoy living in the present moment.
