What is let’s talk about touching?
Let’s Talk About Touching (LTAT) is a personal safety program that empowers children aged 0-8 to understand their bodies, distinguish between safe and not safe touches, set boundaries, and increase abuse resistance. Through experiential, hands-on activities, LTAT creates a safe space for children to explore these critical concepts.
LTAT Training
Comprehensive 2-day course
14.5 hours of experiential, hands-on training covering effective, trauma-informed implementation of the LTAT children’s program, including how to incorporate body safety into everyday practice.
Who is this training for?
This training is designed for anyone working with children aged 0-8 in group early learning and child care environments and primary classrooms, including:
Early Childhood Educators
School-Aged Child Care Staff
Certified Primary Teachers
Only those in direct relationship with children will be eligible to implement the LTAT children’s program after training.
*Attending both Saturdays is mandatory in order to be certified to facilitate “Let’s Talk About Touching” in your community.
Professional Development Hours Certificate Provided.
