Everyone enjoys and appreciates music! Introducing music to children benefits their development in many ways, but, we know not everyone is naturally musical. This workshop is designed for both musical and non-musical participants. In this workshop, you will learn how music can be incorporated into children’s programs even if you feel you are not ‘musical’ yourself.
We will look at a variety of techniques for using music and applying musical techniques in the program to benefit the children, and help participants understand the developmental benefits that music can provide. Above all, participants will leave with not only a better understanding of how to use music creatively but also will leave feeling more confident and motivated to introduce musical techniques to enhance their program.
Suitable for all early learning professionals.
