Toddlerhood and preschool-age (2 – 5 years old) is an important window to build the foundation for kids to become lifelong healthy eaters. In this workshop you will come to understand picky eating behaviour by discovering its developmental causes. Identify what common activities inadvertently fuel picky eating behaviour. Learn how to create activities that help grow healthy eaters.

Kristen Yarker, MSc, RD brings the JOY of healthy eating to women and picky kids. And, powers women to LOVE our bodies. A registered dietitian, Kristen has 20 years of experience in nutrition helping find the sweet spot where eating is healthy for body, mind, and soul. Kristen is a recognized child-feeding expert who has helped hundreds of parents support their picky eaters to try new foods on their own (without the forceful ways of the past). After 7 years of moms asking for help with their eating too, Kristen created 40 Days to a Happy, Healthy You women’s weight loss program. Kristen is a nutrition expert consultant for food companies such as Love Child Organics, as well as for health authorities, the BC Ministry of Health, and non-profit organizations, developing policies and resources used throughout BC. Kristen is a nutrition writer and is often quoted in the media.
