Getting to Know Your Supported Child Development Program Wendy Blaine, Anna Giacometti, Adrianna Bazijanec
We invite you to join us for a workshop that describes the Supported Child Development Program at Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living. We will define our roles and involvement with families, community service providers, school district 42 and the childcare centers. We will provide information on our education and training as well as the workshops we provide to the childcare centers, our families and other community professionals. Presenting the information in this workshop will be selected SCD Consultants accompanied by the SCD Program Supervisor, Wendy Blaine. We are excited to meet with you and have the opportunity to answer questions and for you to get to know more about who we are, what we do, and how SCD service is delivered to support you and others in our community.

Presenter Information
Wendy Blaine is the Supervisor of the Supported Child Development Program and the Infant Development Program with the Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living. She has served this community and families with RMACL for 36 years from preschool teacher to consultant to supervisor. Over her years in this community she has also been a daycare provider and an extra staffing support provider. Working with children with diverse learning needs has been a passion for her in her 50+ years of working in this field. Anna Giacometti has been a consultant with Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living for over 8 years. During this time, she has been an IDP and SCDP consultant for the regional/ mainstream program as well as a consultant and supervisor for the Indigenous IDP and SCD. Her favourite aspect of the job is working and making connections with the families and childcare programs in her community. Adrianna Bazijanec is a Supported Child Development Consultant with Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living. She has served the community and families with RMACL for 3 years as a part of the Infant Development Program and now currently with the SCD team. She appreciates the incredible opportunity of working with families, childcare providers and the children we support in care. Her values in this field of work is her commitment to perform and serve the children and families assigned to her with exemplary care, this is of the upmost importance to her.
