All children enjoy participating in and listening to stories, rhymes and fingerplays. In this workshop participants will get some pointers on how best to involve children, encourage their participation and create ‘fun’ in the fingerplays we provide. They will learn the difference between fingerplays and action rhymes and will look at the value of putting both into your programs when working with children. Participants will be encouraged to get involved and will be given a variety of suggestions on ways they can make Fingerplays even more fun. Participants will leave with a package of fun fingerplays, including patterns, on a variety of topics that they will be able to use in their work with children.
