Each educator is on a different pathway in learning about the ELF. Each group will navigate through the concepts, theory and new language in ways that are meaningful to them. My role is to support each individual and group in their understanding of the ELF. The purpose of this workshop is to plant gentle seeds that hopefully inspire educators to think about the possible ways they could implement the ELF in their unique practice and Early Years settings.
Possible Pathways of Learning for Participants:
Participants will explore a brief introductory overview of the revisions made to the BC Early Learning Framework (2019).
Participants will engage in critical reflection about the purpose behind the revisions.
Participants will explore new concepts, theories, and terms put forth by the Early Learning Framework (2019).
Participants will explore pedagogical practices and the pedagogical narration process. With an open mind, participants may begin to consider how to implement aspects of the Early Learning Framework theory into their practice and programs.
