*ONLINE WORKSHOP*
Participants will learn about the current research on the effects of Covid-19 on children’s mental health and the implications for Early Childhood Educators.
**Workshops are presented live through Zoom. Participants must ensure to sign up with their correct email as unique workshop links will be sent out 24-48 hours before the workshop. Make sure you are using a compatible device and have a working internet connection. Participants must attend at least 1/2 of the workshop to be eligible for a partial certificate. Certificates are sent out approximately one month after the workshop upon completion of a survey.

Presenter(s)
Dr. Mary Turri and Alexis Dawson
Presenter Information
Dr. Turri is a Registered Psychologist at the Richmond Early Childhood Mental Health Program and Sunny Hill Health Centre. She holds her Ph.D. in School and Applied Child Psychology from UBC and is experienced in providing psychological assessment and family-centered behavioural and mental health intervention for children and youth, as well as consultation to schools and community agencies. Mary works with individuals and their families from early childhood to adolescence experiencing difficulties in development, learning, behaviour, and mental health. Alexis Dawson is a student clinician at the Richmond Early Childhood Mental Health Program. She holds her MA in Child Clinical Psychology from SFU and is currently completing her PhD. Alexis enjoys providing services to children of all ages, with a particular emphasis on parenting and family-based interventions. She is passionate about providing evidence-based treatment and assessment to youth and their families.
