Cultivating Caring Children: The Roots of Social Responsibility

We all desire caring and considerate children, but there is much confusion about how to get there. This presentation is rooted in attachment and addresses the developmental beginnings of these highly held virtues. We will focus on how we can best cultivate caring and kindness in our children and, in turn, create better, more inclusive and socially responsible communities.

Deborah is a dynamic teacher and experienced counsellor who makes developmental science come to life in the everyday context of home and classroom. She also provides counselling services to parents and professionals to make sense of learning, behavioural, and developmental issues in kids – from babies to teens​.
