Unresolved conflict can have an unhealthy impact on both children and adults, creating a negative learning environment for all involved. This workshop will guide educators through practical strategies to teach children in managing conflict, as well as provide tools for resolving conflict within the workplace.

Cecily Genner
Presenter Information
Cecily Genner is currently studying in the School of Social Work at the University of Victoria with a specialization in Child Protection. She has worked in School-Age Child Care at Jericho Kids’ Club for eight years and is a passionate advocate for continued education in the field. Located on Vancouver Island, she currently works in partnership with various BC-based organizations to provide school-age specific training for educators with a range of experience, from frontline staff to program managers. Along with her experience in childcare, Cecily brings with her a commitment to social justice through anti-oppressive and decolonizing practice.
