Caring with Caring” is an early childhood mental health workshop program tailored for educators who work in infant and toddler programs in group child care settings in British Columbia. Under the three caregiving approaches (relationship-based approach, Individualized approach, and family-centred approach), Caring with Caring aims to reconstruct the early childhood educators’ mindset, support classroom management, and make connections to British Columbia Early Learning Framework.

Caring with Caring covers the following topics:

Part 1 (Saturday, September 17)

• Introduction to Early Childhood Mental Health
• Relationships

Part 2(Saturday, October 1)

• Regulation
• Classroom Management

Please bring a bagged lunch, a half hour break will be part of this workshop. Participants are strongly encouraged to take part 2 on October 1st as well.
