*ONLINE WORKSHOP*
Participants will learn about typical emotional development during the preschool years, how to give children vocabulary to describe their feelings (“emotional literacy”), and how to use emotion coaching to help support preschoolers to regulate their feelings during difficult moments. Using examples and practice activities, Mary will share ways to build a foundation of emotional literacy in the classroom, and how to use that foundation when supporting preschoolers experiencing difficult emotions.
**Workshops are presented live through Zoom. Participants must ensure to sign up with their correct email as unique workshop links will be sent out 24-48 hours before the workshop. Make sure you are using a compatible device and have a working internet connection. Participants must attend at least 1/2 of the workshop to be eligible for a partial certificate. Certificates are sent out approximately one month after the workshop upon completion of a survey.
