Practicing self-compassion and developing strategies for building inner resources enhances resilience, which acts as a buffer against professional burnout and fatigue. This is a workshop for those seeking to reduce anxiety, enhance well-being and respond with self-kindness to the challenges of work, relationships and everyday life. Participants will create a vision wheel that will help them connect with aspects in their life that may feel ‘heavy’ or ‘stuck’ and develop intentions to bring flow, well-being and a deeper personal connection to their needs. They will also practice techniques that can be easily implemented in their daily self-care practice. Suitable for childcare providers, early years professionals and parents.
Equipment required per participant: poster paper, pencil crayons or markers, scissors, glue stick, magazines, handouts.
