Amazing Me (Human Body)

In this workshop you’ll try out activities for young learners that explore what their bodies can do, inside and out. Investigate balance, ponder the function of bones, check out your fingerprints, all while considering what makes you unique.

Bubble & Fizz (Soap Bubbles & Kitchen Chemistry)

We’ll make a (clean) mess while investigating the chemistry of soap bubbles and trying out some activities that react and fizz, using safe materials you can easily find around the house.

Sandy Eix is the Director of STEAM Learning at Science World, who’s spent the last 28 years creating fun, (sometimes messy), inquiry rich STEAM learning experiences for kids of all ages. Her now-20-year-old tested out a lot of the Big Science for Little Hands activities as a preschooler!

Suitable for child care providers and child care workforce.
